Katrina Kaif unusual beauty, her overnight success as a model, her provocative work in Boom, and well, her being linked to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, all add to Katrina Kaif’s notice. At 20, she is known in the industry as the beauty with brains. She also gets full marks for professionalism.

She came to Mumbai & started her career with Modelling. She signed Boom, but it was not successful. Boom was a typical Bollywood set-up. That was a combination of things going wrong. That was her learning experience. She is considered a very beautiful woman by a lot of industry people.

She is a private person and don’t go to too many parties. She wants to go normally with friends. Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit Was a top-line model in India before entering the Hindi film industry. Was launched by heavy-weight producer-director Subhash Ghai. Regretted showing flesh in Dayavan (1988) and has tried to maintain a clean image since then. Got recognised by her Ek-do-teen song/dance number in Tezaab (1988), which launched her as a top actress. Had an affair with actor Sanjay Dutt.

A superb performance followed in Dil (1990) – which brought Madhuri her first Filmfare award, a rapport was struck with Indra Kumar which resulted in two more blockbusters Beta (1991) and Raja (1995). 1990 onwards, a hit film per year followed including Saajan, Khalnayak, Prem Pratigaya, cumulating in Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), hindi cinema’s biggest blockbuster to date. Madhuri mania ensured the success of Raja (1995), a film with many flaws, thus Madhuri was renamed as female Amitabh Bachchan.

Married to “Sriram Nene” on 17 October, 1999. She didn’t quit films after marriage. She gave us a splendid performance in Pukar. Now she is blessed with a baby boy. Then after a short gap, she came back in Lajja with a super performance which bagged her the Best Supporting Actor award in the Lux Zee Cine Awards 2002.

She was also awarded the “National Citizen’s Award” on August 25, 2001 in Delhi. Tbe award recognizes excellence in various activities affecting national life.

Priyanka Chopra

Miss World 2000, Priyanka Chopra was Born on 18th July 1982 to the family of Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra & Dr. Madhu Chopra. Priyanka Chopra had a very varied upbringing. She started her Education from La Martiniere Girls College in Lucknow as a resident student, A short stay at Maria Goretti College in Bareilly prepared her for further studies in the USA. Having completed class 10th from Boston USA she decided to become a software Engineer or a Criminal Psychologist.

This 5′8″ girl likes Indian music and dance, flair for writing poetry and short stories, enjoys reading, especially biographies, and has worked for a lot of social welfare programmes. She aims for the stars after completing her education. She is a movie buff and would love to join the galaxy if a good offer comes.

Priyanka Chopra is the latest of beauty queens to join the Bollywood bandwagon. She began her film career with Andaaz opposite Sunny Deol.

She has done Aetraaz with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.

Yet another Kapoor girl to have made a splash in the Hindi films industry, Kareena Kapoor had the privilege of debuting with Amitabh Bachchan’s son, Abhishekh Bachchan. Never in the history of films has a star sibling risen to a status of a mega star in a short period of time as has Kareena Kapoor. Even as a 10-year-old, when Beboo (as she’s fondly called) tried on wigs and new shades of lipsticks in her sister Karisma’s make-up room, everyone knew that she would eventually join movies. But even her mother Babita, who has an iron hand over her daughters, could not foretell the extent of her success. The first unconventional step she took was by signing Refugee immediately after rejecting Rakesh Roshan’s Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. Minor differences led to her walking out of the project, and wisely so, since the film did nothing for its heroine Amisha Patel. Refugee was a perfect launch for Kareena, who with her ethereal looks managed to carve a niche for herself as a performing actress as opposed to a glamour doll. The film did not do well but she was noticed. She had done Yaadein in opposite Hrithik Roshan, and Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gham, Ashoka opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Mujhe Kuch Khena Hai opposite Tushar Kapoor, then she has Sooraj Barjatya’s film, a love triangle with both Hrithik and Abhishek Bachchan. In 2003 Kareena’s Chameli released in which her performance is being noticed. She got Stardust special award for Chameli. Her spunk is what separates her from rest of the glam brigade. And beneath that translucent skin lies a hunger that a truckload of her fav. snicker bars can’t satiate. She brushes aside her famine at the box office. She’s supremely confident it will bow to her one day. She believes in herself strongly. She’s certainly convinced a long line of filmmakers, fat pay packets in hand. Now all she needs is one blockbuster. She had done Mani Rathnam’s Yuva and Govind Nihalani’s Dev. In these films she tried to dress and act completely according to the characters. Aishwarya Rai was born in the South indian state of Karnataka in Manglore on 1st Nov 1973. She was younger of the two siblings, her brother being 3 years elder. When she was about 4 years old, her family moved to Bombay permanently. Her father worked as a merchant navy officer. Aishwarya did her schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir, Santacruz. Academically, she did very well and earned her position as the head girl of her school. Ash chose the science stream while at DG Ruparel College, her favorite subject being Zoology.
