Konark - The Land of Sun God
Konark Temple In Orissa
Recently I had visited to "Konark" with my family. It is situated in the district of Puri in the state of Orissa. From Puri town we took a vehicle and drove on the National Highway 5 for one hour, and covered a distance of sixty Kilometers. There we checked into "Pantha Niwas" (Guest House) and we then went to the Sun Temple of Konark. Sun Temple is situated on the shore of Bay of Bengal. The scene of the sunrise is really heart stopping. The first ray of the sun directly comes to the feet of the "God Sun".
There are many reasons why one should visit this place like it is a religious temple telling the story of the King Langula Narsingho Deo who employed 1200 workers to build this temple, apart from this reason one prominent reason is that one can cover maximum places in this area within 100 kilometer like "World famous Lord Jagannath Temple", "World famous Kaling war (Daya river) spot" and Lord Buddhas first preaching place Khandagiri. One can cover maximum of historical places by taking a visit to Konark.
Vrindavan - A Place of Peace And Sanctity
Holy Man In Vrindavan City
A place of peace and sanctity, Vrindavan nearby the famous Mahatma City. City of Lord Krishna is where me and my family recently had a visit. It is full of sacred air and warmth of love all around. There are more than 15-20 temples in the Vrindavan City. We made a visit mainly to Iskon temple, Bihaiji temple and Gokul Mandir. The time we visited this place was holy season when people from Barsane, another famous city come to Vrindavan to play holi with Lord Krishna.
Outside each temple there are people from different communities selling flowers, fruits and various types of statues and pictures of Lord Krishna. We bought some of these sacred things for our home. We have been to Mumbai, Shimla, Kullu - Manali and other parts of India but in this place lies, a feel of our ancestral culture and belief. No matter how western culture, has taken the surface of India but still I think there are still some roots left which are nurtured every day in our heart. I wish that who so ever wants to feel their tradition & culture needs to visit VrindavaDhauli Bhubaneswar - Land Filled With Sanctity and Peace

Akshardham New Delhi - A Splendorous Creation of Human Hand
Akshardham Temple - New Delhi
I have visited the Akshardham temple in Delhi. I think it's a wonderful place that everyone must visit. Akshardham temple has been made by a charitable trust. It is spread over 25 acres of lush green area and is surrounded by Yamuna River from three sides. The architecture and design of Akshardham temple is simply marvelous. The interiors of Akshardham temple is made up of pure white marble. In the hall, there is beautiful display of the great work of artists with thousands of bells hanging on the exiling. On the outer periphery of Akshardham temple is 108 goumukhs that pour water from their mouth.
In the garden area the Akshardham temple has statues of great warriors of India including Ram, Lakshman, Sita and Draupadi, the rath in the center of the garden with eight horses is really superb. In one corner, the Akshardham temple has a library to unleash the ancient India and its history during a musical show organized in the temple in which music is played along with the fountains. Akshardham has a lasting impression ever since I have seen it.
